Dear my younger self,
Here I am now in the age of 31.
Along with the picture sent by mom, allow me to reflecting our journey, especially the journey to find a friend.
Dear my younger self, you've been through some kinds of friendship. And I have to admit that you've been through a tough one.
In your early year of living, you may have a friend that older than you, and you just become the follower. Yeah, you grow up as a follower. But just don't worry.
In my age now, I just realize that Allah creates us differently and uniquely.
Dear younger self,
In Elementary School you start to learn that bestfriends is someone that not talking about brands and fancy thing too much. Yes, I reminds that I use to made friends that have better financial condition, but it the ends, I feel uncomfortable when they started to discuss about their expensive things. I mean, of course I wasn't born rich, but actually I think that topics weren't important things to be talked about.
Dear my younger self,
Sometimes your friends make fun of you.. You may look cool if you can be the leader and dictate the others. But now you know that not all of us born to be a leader. And that's okay. You know what, Rasulullah SAW have never made The Anshar people to be a leader in the world, yet rather he made them leader in his Lake Haudh.
Dear my younger self,
Praise the Lord Allah.. Now you already have a lifetime partner. So you don't have to seeking approval. You don't have to feel peer pressure.
Dear my younger self,
After all the dramas, now please find a friend that can bring you to jannah.. And you will live happily ever after..
